On-line texture measurement for food
Flow properties that influence processability or mouthfeel like viscosity, tack, elasticity, body and others are important for a variety of products in the food industry. The OnLine Rheometer (OLR) is able to make measurements that directly relate to these variables and provide feedback to the operator in real time. In this way the operator can make informed process decisions about the quality of the material in the pipe and make changes as appropriate.
Measure skin feel on-line for cosmaceuticals
Skin-feel, elasticity, spreadability, tack and other textural or flow properties are important for a diverse range of products in the cosmetic, cosmaceutical and pharmaceutical industries. The end-user experience is most often driven by the above variables which can in turn be traced back to the flow properties of the product during the production process. The ability to produce a material efficiently and effectively (processability) can also have a large impact on the viability of the end product. The OnLine Rheometer (OLR) is able to measure flow properties directly related to these variables in the pipe during the production process and provide real time feedback to the operator. In this way the operator can make informed process decisions about the quality of the material in the pipe and make changes as appropriate to streamline the process.
Instant real time data ensures in spec domestic chemical production
Pourability, viscosity , spreadability, tack, elasticity and other textural or flow properties are important for a range of diverse products in the production and manufacture of domestic chemicals like detergent gels, crèmes, soaps and fabric conditioners. Production Underway on the World’s First OnLine Rheometer (OLR)
Rheology Solutions Pty Ltd is pleased to announce that the OnLine Rheometer (OLR) is now in production with units available for immediate purchase. Rheology Solutions has built a new production facility to build the OLR.They are manufactured and rigorously tested and calibrated. The production facility will be expanded as manufacturers reap the benefits of the OLR. It is envisaged that manufacturing sites would start by installing the OLR in one of their process lines and then roll out across all their lines with the installation of an OLR on every line.
